FLAT IRON STEAK CHEF'S CHALLENGE

Sponsored by the Northeast Beef Promotion Initiative and Sardilli Produce, 6 teams from all around the state will compete in the semi-finals on Tuesday, and the center-stage final competition on Wednesday. Tuesday's competition will take place in a Mohegan Sun kitchen, televised to the EXPO floor. Competing teams will present to the judges a Flat Iron Steak dish, completed with Sardill's "mystery basket" of complements.

At the center-stage finals to be held Wednesday… a bit more challenging… the 2 final teams will prepare a dish from a complete "mystery basket" of foods.
